Quick answers
How often should a motorcycle or scooter be serviced?
Most petrol two-wheelers need a first check-up at about 500–1,000 km, then a service every 3,000–6,000 km or 6–12 months, whichever comes first. The owner's manual has the exact schedule.
Do electric scooters need servicing?
Yes, but less: brakes, tyres, suspension and software checks roughly every 5,000 km or 6 months. There is no engine oil, air filter or spark plug to replace.
