Quick answers
How is two-wheeler loan eligibility calculated?
Lenders usually cap all your EMIs together at about 50% of monthly take-home income (the FOIR). Subtract existing EMIs to get the EMI you can afford, then work back to the loan using the interest rate and tenure.
Does a longer tenure increase the loan I can get?
Yes. The same EMI over more months supports a bigger loan, but you pay more interest in total.
How much can I borrow for a bike in Nepal?
Banks lend up to 60% of the vehicle value for private vehicles, so you need at least 40% as down payment.
