  1. Pads or shoes worn to the metal (grinding sound)
  2. Dust or glazed brake pads
  3. Oil or chain lube on the disc

  • Look at pad thickness through the caliper: under 2 mm needs replacing
  • Keep chain lube and polish off the disc
